Compact Fluorescent Light (CFL) Bulbs

If every American home replaced just one light bulb with a compact fluorescent light bulb, we would save enough energy to light more than 3 million homes for a year, more than $600 million in annual energy costs, and prevent greenhouse gases equivalent to the emissions of more than 800,000 cars.  If you replaced the 5 most used lights in your home with a compact fluorescent bulb, you could save anywhere from $60 to $100 a year on your electric bill.

Northwestern Electric sells CFLs in the three most popular wattages:

14 Watt/60 Watt equivalent   $1.00
20 Watt/75 Watt equivalent  $1.25
23 Watt/100 Watt equivalent $1.50

You can purchase the bulbs at our Woodward office, 2925 Williams Avenue, or at our Buffalo office, 102 West Turner.
