Northwestern Electric Cooperative, Inc. is currently accepting applications for the position of Lineman Apprentice in Buffalo, OK.

This is a full-time position with occasional after-hours, weekend, and emergency assignments. This individual will occasionally be on-call and must be available to respond to calls on short notice.

NWEC is a nonprofit electric cooperative and is owned by those we serve, our members. NWEC strives to be our members’ trusted, preferred energy provider and impactful community partner. We believe we can accomplish this by hiring individuals who will partner with us in providing outstanding service to our members.

Benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, 401k, LTD, and paid holidays.

Pre-employment drug screening and DOT physical required. CDL preferred (CDL holders will receive a $2,000 bonus with a 2-year employment contract).

The individual hired for this position must live in or be willing to move to the Buffalo area.
