Fanning-Fussell Scholarship

About the Scholarship

The Fanning-Fussell Scholarship was established in 2001 in memory of Max Fanning and in honor of Thurman Fussell. The board and management chose to name the scholarship after the two men because of their dedicated service to their cooperative and their communities.

After 34 years of service to our cooperative, Thurman Fussell retired and continued serving his community until his passing in June 2025. His impact will be felt for years to come, and his support and servant’s heart will be dearly missed.
